In My Hometown

I seriously have a mind to start a publication that shares Black Excellence. Even though none were in the history books. In school, I really didn’t like Social Studies, which was my history. And my teacher was weird, in my p[inion. I want to have all the stories of known and unknown people who have done what they did. I have so many ideas and I would like to start with some folks in my hometown.

A lot of people I want to tell the story of are celebrities and some are not. Some of y’all have many stories you want us to know I’m sure. Please help me fill this publication with unknown heroes. Whether it's a young person with an idea or maybe the first Black father who was the first to adopt a child. Who bought the Block? Who started a newspaper? Who traveled every? who do you admire?

I don’t have a name for it yet but I am close to coming up with a title. Maybe the hero is you. If you are the biggest, funniest, first or whatever, send in your story. I want to know what your hometown hero’
