Your Blues Ain’t Like Mine

During the month of May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month, II wanted to tell a story about how mental illness is seriously different in different people. And I titled this blog after a novel by the late Bebe Moore Campbell who wrote: “Your Blues Ain’t Like Mine.” She was a Mother, an author, speaker, and journalist. This is her story.

“Your Blues Ain’t Like Mine” is one of many novels that Campbell wrote. and it is about life in the south, where she lived during the summer part-time with her father when her parents divorced.
